And I take it you must not have children either? There may be nothing we can do about it. But you never know until someone tries. Again, I'm not the one I'm concerned about. But I have a 5 year old that has asked me for a beer because she didn't know what it was. Thanks to a commercial that aired while she was watching a family sitcom. I can't always be in the room to change the channel. Young people are the one's affected by the images shown on TV, not adults. And it's just really sad that no one, including you or Chris, are concerned anymore with the way these kids are being influenced. It's almost impossible for a child to be child anymore. They know too much about sex, and alcohol and God only knows what else. And the worst part is, commercials, along with other media, make it look cool.

I don't think any of you are understanding the point. The point that I thought was very plainly stated, was it's about the CHILDREN. I'm not saying that they should even stop airing the medication commercials. But the one's that use an inappropriate message to make their product look desirable are the one's I would prefer my kid's not to see. And as far as getting the word out to kids about STD's and things like that Chris, there is an age you start that, but 5 or 3 is not that age. That is up to the parents and doctors anyway. Not the media. I don't want my preschool age children knowing anything about sex until they are older, and these commercials are making them ask questions I'm not ready to answer. How would you feel if it were your child?
