complaining about commercials is like going to walmart and complaing about the pet food section becuase you dont have a pet .... PUH LEASE .. Do Like Chris said and CHANGE THE CHANNEL !!

And I take it you must not have children either? There may be nothing we can do about it. But you never know until someone tries. Again, I'm not the one I'm concerned about.But I have a 5 year old that has asked me for a beer because she didn't know what it was. Thanks to a commercial that aired while she was watching a family sitcom. I can't always be in the room to change the channel. Young people are the one's affected by the images shown on TV, not adults. And it's just really sad that no one, including you or Chris, are concerned anymore with the way these kids are being influenced. It's almost impossible for a child to be child anymore. They know too much about sex, and alcohol and God only knows what else. And the worst part is, commercials, along with other media, make it look cool.

merrandi , i do have a child , a 3 year old daughter , i dont like 90% of the shows that are on t.v. . So i buy her videos , educational and fun videos , with no commercials , i too can clean my house and cook without having to go change the channel , because i know what she is watching. I am a christian woman and i dont belive in the message that most shows , sitcoms , and commercials give. So I buy things that I approve of and let her watch those , that way I dont have to worry . Maybe thats something you should try .... and why is your 5 year old watching a sitcom anyway ?
