Tyler man, 72, arrested in June 2012 murder

A Tyler man was arrested and charged with murder for a June shooting in the county.
Natalio Gurrusquieta, 72, was arrested by Smith County Detectives, Smith County Patrol Deputies and agents of U.S. Homeland Security Investigations for allegedly shooting Jose Alfredo Sanchez, according to a news release from the Smith County Sheriff's Office. The homicide happened June 3 at a home on County Road 37 in northern Smith County.
Two men were suffered gunshot wounds, including Gurrusquieta, but Sanchez died from his injuries, the release states.
Gurrusquieta was arrested Monday afternoon in the 600 block of East Queen Street in Tyler after an arrest warrant was issued 241st State District Court Judge Jack Skeen, Jr. earlier in the morning.
