Smith County Republican Women
The Smith County Republican Women will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Traditions Restaurant, 6205 S. Broadway Ave. in Tyler.
Paul Gleiser, owner and general manager of KTBB 600 AM and 92.1 FM will be the guest speaker. He will discuss current events.
Grassroots America - We the People
Grassroots America - We the People will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Cornerstone Church Assembly of God, 9107 Paluxy Drive in Tyler.
Tracy Malone, director of a "home school classical education" group in Tyler, will be the guest speaker. Her Classical Conversations children will demonstrate recovery of the lost tools of learning and the benefits of a classical education, which includes biblical viewpoints, according to the release.
Lunches will be available for purchase or attendees may bring their own.
Smith County Republican Party
The Smith County Republican Party, Smith County Republican Club and Smith County Republican Women announced U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, will be in Tyler, Saturday, April 6. No time or location has been set for the visit.
