UPDATE: Three dogs died in Winona house fire

Smith County firefighters battled a structure fire on Devonne Drive in Winona on Monday afternoon. The family escaped the blaze, but at least three Pomeranian dogs were killed.

Smith County firefighters battled a structure fire on Devonne Drive in Winona on Monday afternoon. The family escaped the blaze, but at least three Pomeranian dogs were killed.
The building was fully engulfed and made it impossible for firefighters to enter the building. The firefighters concentrated on keeping the fire from spreading.
