Tyler Police seek help in identifying hotel robbery suspects
On Tuesday, Feb. 12, two unidentified suspects robbed an individual in the parking lot of the Best Western, located at 120 W. Rieck Rd., Tyler police said today.
The victim was checking into the hotel and was observed with a roll of cash by the suspects, who stated to the clerk that they wanted an application for employment.
After the victim checked in, he went out to his vehicle and was removing his luggage from his trunk when one of the suspects reached into his pants pocket and grabbed his cash.
The suspects fled the area when the victim displayed a handgun in attempt to stop the robbery.
The suspects were driving a blue vehicle.
