REL student treated, released after being hit by vehicle
An 18-year-old Robert E. Lee High School student was treated and released from the hospital after he was struck by a vehicle Thursday.
About 8:30 a.m., the student was walking across a parking lot that faces Loop 323 on the Tyler ISD campus when another student driving a pickup struck her, TISD spokeswoman Dawn Parnell said.
The student was taken to a local hospital where she underwent tests.
She suffered no broken bones, Ms. Parnell said.
