Warrants issued for Van oil tank explosion

Van Zandt County authorities have issued warrants for three people in connection with an explosion and fire at an oil storage facility near Van last month.
Van Zandt County Fire Marshal Chuck Allen said his office issued warrants for three people sought in connection with the incident at the Three Folks Operating Company LLC on Jan. 29 that injured two people.
Allen said the warrants are for criminal mischief-over $200,000, which is a first-degree felony and criminal trespass of a critical infrastructure, which is a Class A misdemeanor.
A man and a woman were injured in the explosion last week, and Allen said, “It is my understanding from social media outlets that both victims that received medical treatment at Parkland have been released.”
