Kaufman County reward fund grows to $70,000
Kaufman County Judge Bruce Wood is encouraging interested citizens to make a contribution to the reward fund that has been established to locate the murderers of Kaufman County Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse to do so by contributing to the Kaufman County Crime Stoppers.

The fund is growing hourly and is over $70,000, according to a news release.

"Many people and businesses are reaching out to help and this would be an excellent way to assist law enforcement in finding and convicting the perpetrators of this heinous crime. This was an attack on our criminal justice system which is one of the basic fabrics of our free and open society," Judge Wood said.

All Contributions are tax deductible. Contributions may be sent to the Crime Stoppers fund at the following address:
