Biden's Advice, January 30
Vice President Joe Biden appears to be giving self defense recommendations. He prefers and recommends a double barrel shotgun.
A few obvious points: A shotgun is useless against anyone who is shooting at you from further than 50 yards. A shotgun is useless in defending yourself against an evil government. A shotgun is a wonderful defense weapon if there is a single evil person attacking you and there are no other innocent people anywhere near him. But if there are innocent people around, then a shotgun would give you opportunity to shoot everyone.
Mr. Biden’s favorite two-shot defensive weapon would be excellent as long as there are no more than two attackers and you do not happen to miss.
