Another Era, January 30
All the talk about entitlements and how over 50 percent of the country is clamoring for more free stuff, made me think back to another president who said “ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country.”
This has been cast aside by the new electorate. I remember a time when that president’s picture was on the wall of every black family, Hispanic family, Catholic family and many others who respected him.
But now all have seemed to have forgotten the meaning of those words.
