Tyler police seek Loop 323 robber

The Tyler Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint Sunday morning.
As a woman on the 1800 block of East-Southeast Loop 323, was walking home at 1:29 a.m., an older white car pulled up beside her, according to a news release from the department.
A black man, about 5-foot-9 and about 180 pounds, wearing a grey hat got out of the car, pointed a small black pistol at her and demanded her cellphone, the release states.
The woman handed over her purse and phone and the man got back into the car, which left west on the loop, the release states. Four black men were in the car as it drove away.
The woman was not harmed.
Anyone with information regarding incident is asked to contact the Tyler Police Department at 903-531-1090.
