Defense attorney: Nichols too drunk to intentionally shoot wife
Defense attorney Bradley Lollar said during testimony this morning in the Bobby Nichols murder trial that his client was too intoxicated to intentionally shoot his wife to death last summer. Nichols' blood alcohol level was .22 , Lollar said in court.

But prosecutor Richard Vance said that it was necessary for Nichols to walk a long distance from where his truck was parked and back to the front of the Nichols' 3, 000 square foot home to shoot his wife.

Outside of the jury's presence, Vance questioned Investigator Donald Malmstrom about a note he found during his search of the kitchen, which said "I will kill you."
