MIDDAY UPDATE: Dallas Cowboy's blood-alcohol content below legal limit



SMITH CO. CONSTABLE IN WRECK
A Smith County Precinct 4 Deputy Constable was involved in a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Loop 323 and American Legion Road. A service truck and a Fed Ex delivery van were also involved in the accident. Three people, including Constable Bobby Sanders were transported to a Tyler hospital.


AUTOPSY: DEAD COWBOY HAD LOW BLOOD-ALCOHOL LEVEL
Cowboys linebacker Jerry Brown, who died last month while riding in a car driven by Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent, had alcohol in his system at the time of the crash. An autopsy revealed Brown's blood-alcohol content was below the legal limit. According to the Dallas Morning News, Brown's blood revealed a concentration of 0.056 percent. The legal limit of 0.08 percent. No trial date has been set for Brent.
