BREAKING NEWS: TxDOT crews working to make travel safer

The Texas Department of Public Safety will have crews on hand to help make traveling on bridges and overpasses until temperatures rise above freeing Wednesday.
Roadways being worked on include Interstate 20 and Texas Toll 49.
As of 9:30 p.m., the department is actively applying a coating of magnesium chloride and lightweight rock to”sand” the structures, according to a press release from the department. They will remain on hand until temperatures rise again, which is predicted to be at approximately noon, the release states.
