Junior League association president to visit Tyler
Toni Freeman, president of the Association of Junior Leagues International, is scheduled to visit Tyler on Monday.

She is set to attend Junior League of Tyler’s December meeting and tour two facilities that the chapter was instrumental in establishing, said an announcement from Keri Clark, vice president of communication.

This will be the first time an active AJLI president has visited Tyler, the announcement said.

Ms. Freeman has been a member of The Junior League of Charlotte, N.C., since 1993 and is a past treasurer of AJLI. She is the chief operating officer of The Mint Museum in Charlotte and she serves on nonprofit boards.

The Junior League of Tyler meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Monday at the East Texas Medical Center Pavilion.

Junior League is an organization of women trained as volunteers who support educational and charitable causes.
