Deadline for Master Gardener set Dec. 14
The deadline to apply to be a Smith County Master Gardener is Dec. 14, according to information from the AgriLife Extension Service.
Master Gardeners are volunteers who are trained and then conduct gardening educational programs.
Applicants receive 72 hours of instruction in home horticulture, according to the announcement. The $150 fee includes the “Texas Master Gardener Handbook.”
