Tyler Music Coterie to present holiday concert on Thursday
Tyler Music Coterie will present a Christmas program at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday in Marvin United Methodist Church, 300 W. Erwin St.
The Coterie Chorus, led by Louise Williamson, will sing sacred holiday music, said an announcement.
Accompanists will be June Shull on piano, Jeffrey Ford on organ, bell ringers and an instrumental ensemble. Soprano soloist will be Elizabeth Stricklin and Patti Long is serving as program leader.
Performing will be the vocal and piano duo of Mary Ann Meskiman and Sue Collins. Also featured will be the trio of Laura Nicholson on violin, Christian Kay on cello and Emily Nicholson on piano.
Guest performers include the following church music directors: Jeffrey Ford at Christ Church Episcopal, Dr. Ken Muckelroy at Highland Presbyterian, Ken Reid at Chandler United Methodist Church and Morris West at Emerald Bay Community Church, the announcement said.
The public is invited. Donations to the coterie scholarship fund will be accepted.
