Registration will take place on the day of the walk beginning at 7 a.m., according to the announcement. The walk is set to begin at 9 a.m.
The cost to participate will be $5 or $50 for teams.
The purpose of the Kwanzaa Fest Walk/Run is to create awareness of and research funding for Sickle Cell disease and raise money for youth scholarships. The committee also is looking for sponsorship financing.
