Trial for Tyler dentist accused of killing wife set for Jan. 14

The trial for a Tyler dentist accused of shooting and killing his wife inside of their home this summer has been set for Jan. 14, 2013 in the Smith County 7th District Court, Smith County Assistant District Attorney Chris Gatewood said on Monday.

Dr. Bobby Ray Nichols, faces a sentence range of five years to 99 years or life if he is convicted, prosecutor Richard Vance said in October.
