Wanda Sparks
Services for Wanda Sparks, 75, of Tyler will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Sustaire officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Sparks was born Sept. 15, 1937, in Grand Saline to Emmitt Foster and Martha Inez Ackerson Madden and passed away Nov. 19, 2012, in Tyler. Her family moved to Tyler when Wanda was a teenager. Following high school, she married John Armon Sparks. She was a homemaker when her children were young. Later in life, she worked for Southland Distribution. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Jackie and Jeff Sparks; and two grandsons, Shawn and Greg Sparks.
Survivors include sons, Ray Sparks of Tyler, Randy Sparks of Tyler; daughters, Pamela Pennywell of San Antonio, Theresa Sanders of Tyler, Tina Bradshaw of Tyler; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
