Tyler FD douse blaze at Bullard Crossing Apartments; no injuries
Tyler Fire Department responded to two-alarm structure fire before 7 a.m. this morning at the Bullard Crossing Apartments located at 5105 Old Bullard.
Fire officials said five engines and one ladder company, along with a district chief and an investigator, responded to the scene.
“Fire personnel brought the fire under control quickly and limited fire damage to just one apartment. The apartment above the fire sustained slight smoke damage. No injuries were reported and residents in the surrounding units were returned to their apartments,” Investigator Brandon Davis said.
He added that personnel from the mire marshal's office are on scene conducting the investigation. A cause has not yet been determined.
