Association Executive Committee oversees Texas Rose Festival
Hundreds of volunteers make the Texas Rose Festival possible. Their efforts are guided by the Texas Rose Festival Association officers and staff.
Tim Alexander is the president of the association. One becomes president after serving in previous years as the treasurer and in the vice president posts.
Other officers are Randy Grooms, executive vice president Coronation; Preston Smith, vice president rose activities; Hal Bertram, vice president distinguished guests and Men’s Luncheon; and Ken Waits, treasurer.
They are assisted by Beth Whitney, administrative assistant, and Julie Dawson, the executive director of the festival.
Richard McKellar serves as president of the Strutters, the organization that organizes the Rose Parade.
