Rose Festival Parade steps off Saturday
The Texas Rose Parade, one of the most popular events of the Texas Rose Festival, will step off at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
The procession will begin at Glenwood and Front streets, proceed west on Front and then cross through the East Texas State Fairgrounds ending inside Trinity Mother Frances Rose Satdium.
For those who chose to view the parade from inside the stadium, a preparade show begins at 9 a.m.

More than 130 units are scheduled to take part in the parade, according to organizers.
Rose Queen Haley McGrede Anderson and members of her royal court will be riding floats.
