Dorris Stuart Maggret
Dorris Stuart Maggret, age 88, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, in Mineola. She was born on Tuesday, April 1, 1924, in Fort Worth to the late Charles and Allie Stuart. She was a member of China-Burma-India and various bridge groups.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Marion Maggret; and son, Bernard Marion Maggret Jr.
She is survived by sister, Dorothy Owen of Alba; five grandchildren, Cindie Gant and husband Donny of Mineola, Merry Prather and husband Michael of McKinney, Cheryl Cisneros and husband Mike of San Antonio, Michael Maggret and wife Tiffany of Bridgeport, and Becca Maggret of New York, N.Y.; 10 great-grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Kayser, Caleb, Corbin and Parker Gant, McKenna and Mason Prather, Rylee and Meghann Maggret and Emma Cisneros.
Visitation for Mrs. Maggret will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, with the Rev. Charles Long officiating.
