UPDATE: Mobile home fires called 'very suspicious'
One mobile home was extensively damaged by fire and one was saved before fire did too much damage this morning at the Town and Country Mobile Home Park, near the intersection of County Road 4351 and Highway 110 north, according to Smith County Assistant Fire Marshal Oren Hale.
He said the fires are 'very suspicious,' and appear to have been intentionally started. Red Springs, Dixie and Lindale fire departments responded to the fire.
Hale said officials are still trying to locate and contact the owners. The mobile homes were vacant at the time of the fire.
