Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Roundup Saturday
The Tyler Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary has set its Membership Roundup for Saturday.
The come-and-go event will take place 10 to 11:30 a.m. in The Salvation Army Community Center on North Spring Avenue. Organizers said the roundup is an opportunity for visitors to learn more about the organization and meet members.
SAWA is a year-round service organization whose projects include the Angel Tree, The Salvation Army Kettle Drive, mentoring of children in The Salvation Army lodge and assisting at the William Booth Gardens.

“We need more Tyler women to join giving us fresh ideas, exciting faces and younger outlooks and we have a new program geared for the college woman that has volunteer hours to fulfill,” President Jackie Stroud said.
The auxiliary has a luncheon every second Monday from September through May.
