More triple digits
A weeks worth of well-above normal temperatures will continue for at least a few more days as mid-level high pressure slowly moves off to the west, and allows the heat machine to lose its grip on East Texas by late Sunday and Monday. In the meantime, look for high temperatures to run close to the century mark both today and on Sunday.

However, by Sunday a very low-end chance for some afternoon Showers will return to especially the Eastern Counties of East Texas - eventually spreading into the entire area by Monday afternoon. Tropical Storm Ernesto will continue to be watched over the weekend, and should be approaching the Yucatan by early this coming week. From there it's anyone's guess as to where it will end up by late next week.
