Sheriff Candidates Release Campaign Finance Reports

Smith County Sheriff candidates filed their latest campaign finance reports on July 23.

Larry Smith reported $10,202 in total political contributions during the reporting period, July 1-21, and $35,180 in total political expenditures. He maintained $19,677 in contributions as of the last day of the reporting period.

Chris Green, reported $25,290 in political contributions and $22,000 in total political expenditures for the period beginning July 1 and ending July 21. He maintained $29,485 in political contributions during this same time period.

The latest amounts bring Green's fundraising total to $272,485 since his campaign began and Smith's total to $210,201 since the beginning of the campaign.
