More Rain Likely
We will see one more day with scattered afternoon thunderstorms today. The center of high pressure aloft will shift to the east this week and block disturbances that could bring more numerous thunderstorms to East Texas.
That will mean shower and thunderstorm activity will be minimal, but it also will hold temperatures below 100 degrees until the center reestablishes itself over our area this weekend.
At that time, hot, dry weather will return giving us typical July/August conditions. Winds this week will be south 5 to 10 mph.
