Same Old, Same Old
Normal July weather has returned after consistent shower and thunderstorm activity through much of last week. East Texas remains abnormally dry, but only the eastern counties adjacent to the Louisiana border were in moderate drought through the middle of this month. Chances for rain will be slim through Thursday, and only slightly higher each afternoon from Friday through Sunday. Skies will be mostly sunny through the middle of next week. High temperatures will be in the mid-90s with some upper-90s possible at a few locations this weekend.

Winds will be south to southwest 5 to 10 mph.
