Youth Fun Days Start July 16
East Texas Center for Independent Living will host its Summer Youth Fun Days from 9:30 am to 3:30 p.m. daily from July 16 to 20 at the center’s offices at 4713 Troup Highway.
Participants must be between the ages of 16 and 23 with a disability and/or a medical concern.
Each participant will pay a $15 registration fee that will cover supplies and lunch for this event. A variety of independent living skills sessions will be conducted during this time, such as banking/money handling, job preparedness, healthy eating, arts and crafts, plus games.
Advanced registration is preferred, but also will be accepted the first day of the event. Call 903-581-7542 or visit www.etcil.org for more information.
