Hot Weather Ahead
We will catch a little break from the hot temperatures today. There will be a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today that will keep high temperatures near normal in the low 90s. The heat will not stay away long as high pressure will rebuild across the central U.S. during this Fourth of July week. That will drive temperatures higher and into the upper 90s from Wednesday through the weekend. There will be a slight chance of showers or thunderstorms each afternoon, but mostly it’s going to be hot and dry this week.
