Whitehouse Grad Miranda Logan Phillips Become ER Doctor
Miranda Logan Phillips, formerly of Whitehouse, is the daughter of Mark and Dawn Logan and the grandaughter of Loretta Fason and the late Bill Fason of Tyler, and Bill and Pat Logan of New Chapel Hill.
A 2008 graduate ofWhitehouse High School, she graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in Spanish.
She went on to attend medical school at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences where she was recipient of the class 2012 Regent's Award for Outstanding graduate.
She is in the University of Oklahoma emergency medicine residency program where she has been involved in numerous ongoing research projects, grants, and publications and was awarded the Crimson Apple Teaching Award.
She is employed with Emergency Medicine Physicians of Tulsa at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.Dr. Phillips is slated to be Board Certified in EM by Spring of 2013.
Miranda is married and has a 3-year-old son.
