Grassroots Group Meeting Today At Tyler Church
Grassroots America -- We the People will meet at 11:30 a.m. today at Lakeview Church of the Nazarene, 10818 University Blvd. in Tyler.
MerryLynn Gerstenschlager, Texas Eagle Forum vice president, will discuss foreign culture charter schools and the funding mechanism that allowed non-U.S. citizens to create one of the largest charter school programs in the state -- Turkish Harmony Gulen School.
Box lunches will be available for purchase or attendees may bring their own. The public is welcome.
