Oncor Works To Restore 500 Outages
A round of Saturday morning storms knocked out power for some Tyler and Smith County residents, prompting crews to work throughout the day to restore it.
Oncor spokesman Charles Hill said late Saturday that about 500 East Texans were still without power, about 65 of them near the area of County Road 1108 in the Flint area.
Crews were working to determine a reason behind the outage.
"We don't really know what we've got out there," Hill said. "It went out about 6:45 (a.m.)"
Hill predicted power should be fully restored before today.
