More Rain Ahead
Our string of less-than predictable days will continue for one more day, as shower and thunderstorm chances will stretch into this afternoon before high pressure takes over for the second half of the week — effectively shutting down the rain machine.
Clouds and showers will help to keep a lid on the afternoon temperatures. However, fewer clouds by Thursday and Friday will allow temperatures to recover back above the 90-degree mark. In addition, scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms will also be reintroduced into the forecast by the weekend.
