NAVY
Navy Seaman Aaron D. Neely, Navy Seaman Judith H. Self, and Navy Seaman Jared D. Johnson recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
During the eight-week program, they completed training that included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis also was placed on physical fitness.
Neely, son of Carol R. and Stephen D. Neely, of Lindale, is a 2006 graduate of Lindale High School.
Self, daughter of Grady L. Self, of Cushing, and Teresa W. Dixon, of Georgetown, Ky., is a graduate of Scott County High School, Georgetown, Ky.
Johnson, son of Troy D. Johnson, of Winnsboro, and Debra M. Johnson, of Skiatook, Okla., is a graduate of Bixby High School, Bixby, Okla., and Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Okla.
