The event, which will start at 1 p.m., is free and open to the public.
A pet-strutting contest will take place at 1 p.m., followed by yip-dog races at 2:30 p.m. A classic car show will run from 2 to 5 p.m., as will family games presented by Southside Bank.
There will be live music throughout the day as well.
Meanwhile, grillers will be hard at work on their contest entries for the steak cookoff. Christine Gardner, Tyler Morning Telegraph food editor, will be among the celebrity judges.
A steak buffet will run from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Taste of Texas steak knife given for each ticket sold.
The meal comes with a New York strip, two sides and a roll. Tickets, which are limited, are $18.99 and can be purchased at FRESH and select Tyler Brookshire's locations. A free kid's meal comes with each ticket.
The event is part of the store's Taste of Texas celebration, which runs through June 10.
