Police Looking For Man Who Robbed Conoco Station In Tyler
Tyler Police are looking for a black man who robbed the Conoco store at Van Highway and West Gentry Parkway just after the noon hour today.

Police were told the man entered the store and displayed a semi-automatic handgun, demanding the cash from the register. The store clerk told officers that the suspect removed the cash from the register, left the store and got into a dark green 4-door, midsize car, possibly a Chevy Malibu with a rear spoiler.

A witness who was in the store at the time of the robbery followed the suspect, but lost him in the area of Parkdale and Garden Valley roads. Officers searched the area and did not find the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5-feet-10 to 6-feet-2, wearing a white muscle t-shirt and blue jeans. No injuries were reported, and this case remains under investigation.

Anyone with information about the suspects involved in this crime is asked to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833). Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
