31 DWI Arrests In Smith County Over Holiday Weekend
The Memorial Day weekend No-Refusal DWI (driving while intoxicated) Campaign resulted in 31 arrests in Smith County.
Tyler Police Spokesperson Don Martin said the No-Refusal Campaign ran from Friday through Monday.
The Department of Public Safety made 19 DWI arrests, Tyler police had eight DWI arrests, Texas Parks & Wildlife had one DWI arrest, Bullard police had two DWI arrests and Lindale police had one DWI arrest.
Three search warrants for blood were granted by judges during the campaign, Martin said.
