Cattle Barons’ Gala benefits ACS programs
The Tyler Cattle Barons’ Gala is only days away — June 9.
Using a formula of country fun, cowboy cuisine and boot-scooting music, the Gala in its 25 years has become one of the premier fundraising events in East Texas each year. And the money goes to an excellent cause: the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer.
Most of us know someone who has died or is fighting cancer. It is a disease that touches many lives. The ACS says about 1.4 million people who will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
