Pastor's Ministry Celebrated
Trinity Lutheran Church in Tyler will celebrate their pastor, Art Hill, and his 30 years in the ministry on June 3. The day will include a worship service at 10:30 a.m., followed by a potluck meal and a recognition service featuring guest speaker Paul Krentz, Mission and Ministry Facilitator, Texas District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). Honoring Pastor
Trinity Holy Temple Church will honor their pastor and his wife, Apostle Paul Ford and Elect Lady Eva Ford, at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at 21777 Texas Highway 135 North, Troup.
The theme of the event is "We've come this far by faith." Ford has been pastor of the church since 2010. The event will feature a guest speaker, the Rev. Jacob McKenzie, pastor of House of Prayer in Tyler. The public is invited. Call 979-571-4747 or 903-372-4975 for more information.
