Way To Go Bubba, May 20
RAVES: Three cheers for Bubba! Regarding his article in the May 13 Tyler Paper, I so appreciated his honesty and boldness in sharing his personal feelings about the controversial date of Jesus’ birth. I’m in total agreement: When doesn’t matter — why he came is most important.
Celebrating the birth of the Lord Jesus shouldn’t be a once-a-year occasion but an everyday attitude of the heart.
As Bubba says, there are so many more important things to be concerned with. For instance, are we living our lives according to His will, like His Book says? If we would all get our eye off ourselves, look around at the needs of others and show the love of Jesus by being His hand extended here on earth, the world would be a much better place; and everyone knows there’s much room for improvement.
