HAWKINS — A 15-year-old Hawkins High School student died Thursday morning from a massive head injury.
Jacob Cole Gatlin was injured Monday morning, when he collapsed during his P.E. class.

CBS19 talked to Jacob’s grandfather, Howard Gatlin, who said Jacob died at 10:30 a.m. at Children’s Hospital in Dallas.
Howard said Jacob loved sports, Boy Scouts and his family.
Funeral arrangements are pending. No fund has been set up.
