UPDATE: Woman Testifies She Altered Evidence On Cargill's Behalf

Updated Monday, May 13, 2012 at 4:06 p.m. CDT
A woman who Kimberly Cargill had not spoken to or been friends with since high school testified that Cargill told her what to write in a letter to a psychologist who was testing Cargill before a scheduled child custody hearing.

Suzanne Davis was told by Cargill in a phone call the defendant made from jail to change passwords on her Facebook, e-mail and Google accounts. Davis was then arrested for tampering with evidence.

Cargill also told Davis to talk about what a wonderful mother the defendant was, and how she always put her children first in a letter to psychologist Wade French.

The stepmother of a woman found dead on a remote area of a Smith County road continued her emotional testimony this morning as the trial of Kimberly Diane Cargill entered its sixth day.

"It's like burying her all over again," Rueon Walker said in response to questions from defense attorney Jeff Haas.

Haas questioned Ms. Walker again about her stepdaughter's history of seizures. Ms. Walker said she never saw Cherry have a seizure.
