Elect Green, May 13
I have known Chris Green for over 14 years and will support him for Smith County sheriff — in fact, it was my late husband, Don Pinkerton, who initially told Chris that he would make a great sheriff for Smith County and encouraged Chris to seek this position. Chris is a dedicated husband, father, and public servant, a man of character, integrity and ethics.
Chris Green has outstanding law enforcement training from the state of Texas and has private business experience too — he has not spent his entire career taking a paycheck from taxpayers. Chris has owned a business, met a payroll and knows what it takes to run a business. Chris has the temperament and the character to lead a large department of men and women and will always hold his staff to high ethical standards. Chris’ job as a game warden gave him the opportunity to see the problems that the citizens of Smith County face every day. He has spent over 35,000 hours patrolling this county and is the most qualified person to give the Smith County Sheriff’s Office a fresh start.
