Leadership consultant, speaker and best-selling author Patrick Lencioni will be the first speaker at 8:05 a.m. Based on his model in his first best-selling book, “The Five Temptations of a CEO,” Lencioni will identify the natural human tendencies that plague all leaders, often preventing them from fulfilling their potential, and will offer actionable advice on how to overcome these common behavioral pitfalls.
Starting at 9:20 a.m., former Dallas Cowboys and Pro Football Hall of Famers Aikman and Smith will hold a question-and-answer session to give participants a chance to learn leadership tips and advice they learned as members of one of the most prolific professional football teams in history.
The last speaker, sociologist, author, lecturer and educator Dr. Bertice Berry, will start her presentation at 10:30 a.m. She will discuss the importance of finding purpose in life and leading others to find theirs. She also will identify different learning styles and how crucial it is to learn the style that works best “for you and the people you lead.”
