Missing Woman Found Unharmed, Arrested
A Henderson woman on Thursday was not seeking criminal prosecution after she was allegedly abducted earlier this week.
On Wednesday, the Rusk County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division found Kimberly Ann Davis, 39, who was reported missing by family members, according to a news release.
The family members had not been able to contact her since May 3 and reported her missing on May 5 after learning she may have been a possible victim of abduction.
According to a news release, Rusk County authorities began an investigation that expanded outside Texas to Arkansas and Louisiana. She was found unharmed on Wednesday in Gregg County and because she had unrelated active felony narcotic warrants out of Rusk County, she was arrested and taken to Rusk County Justice Center, according to a news release.
As of Thursday, no suspects were identified in the alleged abduction. An investigation will continue pending leads developing that identify a possible suspect or suspects in this case.
