Man Charged With Intoxication Manslaughter
A 21-year-old Tyler man remained behind bars Thursday afternoon after he was arrested in connection with the death of a 36-year-old woman in a car accident in the 9100 block of Paluxy Drive on Wednesday night.
Tyler police said the victim, Tara Dawn Smith, died in surgery at East Texas Medical Center and her body was sent for an autopsy.

Police arrested Dallas Youman and charged him with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle in regard to the accident that occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The case remains under investigation.
Youman remained jailed Thursday on a $75,000 bond.
